ENGLISH:

His love for music started when he was a little kid. Listening to the radio almost 24/7, he often heard mixes from the Dutch Mastermixer Ben Liebrand. Because of this, his interest in music became more intensive. With his cassette recorder he tried to make remixes like Ben did, with various results.

At the end of the 80s, he often went to a discotheque in The Hague where well known (hardcore) deejays played. It was there where he first came across the so called "DJ". Not much later he bought himself a turntable and a simple mixer. His second turntable came from his dad, who did'nt use it anymore. Then the practicing began to learn the right skills to become a great DJ. ONE year later, he performed his first set in the same discotheque in The Hague where he was a regular guest!! From 1991 he started to buy records on a weekly basis and performed in small bars, party's and some birthdays. He now has more than 2250 (mostly hardcore and hardstyle) vinyl records in his collection, and a large collection of (mostly house, dance, latin and club) CD's. Since then, he played on many parties, festivals, in bars and clubs.

Though he started with hardcore, Dyno added hardstyle to his styles a few years ago. Now a days he even plays more styles, like Dance, House, Club, Latin and even Top 40! But it does'nt matter what he plays, he is always happy when he stands behind the DJ booth!! Almost 21 years now!

Recently, he started producing music, and this will be his goal for this year! He hopes to release a nice own production in the near future.

DUTCH:

De liefde voor muziek kwam bij DJ Dyno al op vroege leeftijd naar boven. Hij luisterde bijna 24 uur per dag naar de radio. Daar hoorde hij vaak mixen van Ben Liebrand.. Door deze mixen/remixen van Ben is Dyno zich steeds meer gaan interesseren in muziek in alle vormen en soorten. Met zijn cassetterecorder probeerde hij net zulke mixen te maken als Ben, wat uiteraard niet altijd lukte.

Eind jaren `80 kwam hij vaak in een discotheek in Den Haag, waar een aantal bekende (hardcore) DJ's draaiden. Daar kwam hij voor het eerst in aanraking met het fenomeen "DJ". Niet veel later kocht hij een simpele mixer en een draaitafel. Van zijn vader kreeg hij zijn 2e draaitafel, want die had hem toch niet meer nodig. Vervolgens is hij thuis veel gaan oefenen op de oude dj-set om het DJ-vak onder de knie te krijgen. Een jaar later stond hij al in de discotheek, waar hij zo vaak kwam. Vanaf 1991 is hij elke week platen gaan kopen en op feesten, verjaardagen, en in bars gaan draaien. Inmiddels heeft al meer dan 2250 vinylplaten in zijn collectie. Sindsdien heeft hij op veel feesten gedraaid en in veel clubs gestaan.

Hoewel hij begonnen is met hardcore, is hij later ook hardstyle gaan draaien, omdat deze muziek hem ook erg goed lag. En tegenwoordig draait hij ook dance, house, latin, club en zelfs Top 40!! Maar het maakt hem niet zo veel uit of hij nu hardcore, hardstyle, dance, club, latin, house, oldschool, of earlyrave of wat dan ook moet draaien, een feest wordt het altijd met DJ Dyno achter de draaitafels! Hij draait dus nu al bijna 21 jaar!!

Tegenwoordig is Dyno ook begonnen met produceren, maar dat staat nog in de kinderschoenen. Over een niet al te lange tijd hoopt Dyno om ook als producer door te breken met een eigen plaat.
